Magical, Musical Monday (Day One)
It's singing-dancing-acting time! Learn about You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, featuring our favorite characters from the "Peanuts" comic strip, famously created and illustrated by Charles M. Schulz.
1. Introduction to You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown
Ms. Jodi introduces the musical, explaining that it is very different from most musicals: Rather than a big journey or life-changing moment, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown is a collection of simple "scenes" that focus on the everyday joys and challenges of the Peanuts gang, including Snoopy.

Ms. Jodi welcomes everyone with this week’s opening song and talks about some of the other "Peanuts" characters including Lucy, Linus, Sally and Schroeder. She introduces the song, “A Book Report on Peter Rabbit” which illustrates each character's traits. She also illuminates the philosophical nature of Linus and his penchant for his blanket. After listening to “Book Report,” she asks us to work with Ms. Bridie to learn part of the song, “My Blanket and Me.”
