The Song Is You!
Enjoy the eighth season of one of the region’s most popular arts series. Host Bill Rudman leads show-stopping singers and instrumentalists in multimedia concerts and intimate cabarets highlighting the work of songwriters like the Gershwin brothers and Jerry Herman, and exploring themes including “Pick Yourself Up: Songs for Hard Times” and “A Christmas Cabaret.” Film clips, photographs and archival audio complement this “tale told in song” as Rudman and company bring to life the classics of Broadway and Hollywood.
Presented with partners Cuyahoga Community College, Tri-C JazzFest, Stocker Arts Center, Akron Civic Theatre and NightTown, The Song Is You! is a feast of unforgettable tunes and treasured memories.
